In France, the iPhone is for now still exclusive to Orange, which gives them an huge strategic advantage. To fight against it, SFR has proposed this summer a special offer to some of its subscribers in exchange for a commitment of two years on a plan including unlimited data: a partial refund for the purchase of an iPhone at Orange, but without subscribing to an Orange plan, which is possible, but much more expensive thant buying the iPhone with a plan.
