The French operator Orange has already published three applications for the iPhone: Liveradio, for listening to radios over Internet, Spot'finder, to locate Wi-Fi hot-spot, and mazonevideo, which gives access to the content of Orange's video sharing service. At the Festival Européen des 4 écrans, Xavier Couture (the CEO of Orange) has unveiled a fourth one, which looks very interesting: it will give access to television on the iPhone.
Access to TV video streams is indeed included in most of the operator's unlimited data plans, with the only requirement of having a phone capable of using those streams. This possibility so far sorely lacking in the iPhone and this application, which should be free, will therefore help the iPhone to gradually catch its competitors.
