It is not a surprise: Apple is currently preparing a new major release of its mobile OS for iPhone, called iPhone OS 3.0. For now, no detail has filtered about this new releas, but Apple just sent some invitations to a preview of the new features, which will be held on the 17 of march at 10 A.M. in Apple's Cupertino headquarter.
A new iPhone version is also awaited for this summer, maybe it will also be disclosed during this presentation.
