But MySMS goes further than that! Here are all the functions proposed its two versions, MySMS and MySMS Secure:

MySMS can display the list of messages in 4 different formats: all messages separately, only the incoming messages, only the outgoing messages or finally by conversations, as in Apple's SMS software, but with an icon depending on the content of the conversation. The way the messages are displayed depend on how they are listed: in the first three cases, only the selected message is displayed, as on a conventional phone, whereas in the latter case, it is the full conversation that is displayed. MySMS also allows to delete the messages in individually or by conversations.

Contact management is also interesting. Indeed, rather than simply listing the contacts, MySMS displays their phone numbers under their names, so that you can directly choose the number to use, without going through an intermediate screen. The search for contacts can also be done by entering a filter.

Finally, MySMS enables encryption of messages with a personalized key, facilitates the copy of contact details into the message and accelerates the typing of recurring messages through customizable templates.

It only lacks of directories management to fill almost all the shortcomings of the iPhone's SMS manager.
